24.1 Voices in the Dark

Choose low-bitrate or high-bitrate MP3 files. The low bandwidth files are great if you use a dial-up modem, do not have much disk space, or want to put a lot of audio files on a CD or on your portable MP3 player. The high brandwith files sound much better, but are much larger.

Puedes escoger entre dos tipos de formatos MP3, de baja o alta extensión. Los de baja extensión son ideales si usas un módem dial-up, no tienes mucho espacio en el disco del ordenador o quieres guardar un montón de archivos audio en un CD o en un MP3 player. LibriVox provides free audio books from the public domain. There are several options for listening. The first step is to get the mp3 or ogg files into your own computer. Here are two main ways to do this: 1. Thrice-weekly Podcast We podcast one book at a time, with three audio installments a week. To subscribe to our podcast, copy and paste this URL into your podcatcher: http://librivox.org/podcast.xml 2. Catalog Visit our catalog and download books you wish to listen to.

Librivox ofrece audio libros gratis procedentes del dominio público. Hay varias opciones para escucharlos. El primer paso es guardar los formatos mp3 o ogg en tu propio ordenador.
Hay dos maneras de hacerlo:

LibriVox volunteers record chapters of books in the public domain (books no longer under copyright) and release the audio files back onto the net. Practically, this means they record books published before 1923. All the recordings are also donated into the public domain. The goal is to make all public domain books available as free audio books.
Librivox records audio books in all languages.

LearnOutLoud.com has scoured the Internet to bring you over 3000 free audio and video titles. This directory features audio books, lectures, speeches, sermons, interviews, and many other great audio and video resources. Most audio titles can be downloaded in digital formats such as MP3 and most video titles are available to stream online.

LearnOutLoud.com buscó en Internet para traerte más de 3000 títulos de audios y videos gratis. Este guía te ofrece audio libros, lecturas, discursos, sermones, entrevistas y muchos otros grandes recursos audio y video.
